Brian Markinson has a new project lined up, a short film called Elijah the Prophet, which shoots next spring. More info, from Wireservice.ca:
The short film script, ‘Elijah the Prophet’, was penned by the writing duo Zachary and Jesse Herrmann of Brooklyn, NY, whose screenplay beat out 512 other hopefuls worldwide to take top prize as part of the 2010/11 Canadian Short Screenplay Competition.The producers launched a crowd-funding campaign for the film this week. Syfy has announced the premiere date for Snowmageddon, with Magda Apanowicz and Michael Hogan:

In this graphic and violent, post-apocalyptic thriller, nine strangers – all tenants of a New York high rise apartment- escape a nuclear attack by hiding out in the building’s bunker-like basement. Trapped for days underground with no hope for rescue, and only unspeakable horrors awaiting them on the other side of the bunker door, the group begins to descend into madness, each turning on one another with physical and psycho-sexual torment.
