And here is the first behind-the-scenes video with Sasha and and his cast mates talking about the show (via People.com):

Brian Markinson has a new project lined up, a short film called Elijah the Prophet, which shoots next spring. More info, from Wireservice.ca:
The short film script, ‘Elijah the Prophet’, was penned by the writing duo Zachary and Jesse Herrmann of Brooklyn, NY, whose screenplay beat out 512 other hopefuls worldwide to take top prize as part of the 2010/11 Canadian Short Screenplay Competition.

‘Elijah the Prophet’ tells the comedic story of Elijah: the pious, chummy, and alcoholic prophet whose yearly antics have graced Jewish households for ages; unfortunately, for the childlike servant of God, not everyone understands drunk driving is, for him, a divine right, which soon ends him up on the wrong side of the law.
The producers launched a crowd-funding campaign for the film this week. For more details and to see how you can contribute, head over to Kickstarter.

We Have Your Husband with Esai Morales and Teri Polo will premiere on Saturday, November 12th at 8 pm on Lifetime. From the press release:
The chilling true story of one woman's fight to get her husband released from the hands of kidnappers in Mexico is brought to life in the Lifetime Original Movie, "We Have Your Husband." American-born Jayne Valseca (Teri Polo, Meet the Parents, Man Up), her husband Eduardo (Esai Morales, NYPD Blue), the son of a legendary Mexican newspaper publisher, and their two children live an idyllic life on their 1,000 acre ranch outside of a peaceful Mexico town. But in the summer of 2007, their peaceful life is turned into a real-life nightmare when Eduardo is ambushed and kidnapped by strangers. With kidnapping becoming a pervasive and lucrative business in Mexico, Jayne is at the mercy of the kidnappers when they demand millions for the husband's safe release.
There is also a new audio interview with Esai Morales at DaytimewithDonna.com. It starts 31 minutes into the podcast. He talks about Gun Hill Road among other things, but mostly about politics.

And a new trailer and the official synopsis for The Divide, with Michael Eklund, Michael Biehn, Milo Ventimiglia, Courtney B. Vance and Rosanna Arquette, out in January:
In this graphic and violent, post-apocalyptic thriller, nine strangers – all tenants of a New York high rise apartment- escape a nuclear attack by hiding out in the building’s bunker-like basement. Trapped for days underground with no hope for rescue, and only unspeakable horrors awaiting them on the other side of the bunker door, the group begins to descend into madness, each turning on one another with physical and psycho-sexual torment. As supplies dwindle, and tensions flare, and they grow increasingly unhinged by their close quarters and hopelessness, each act against one another becomes more depraved than the next. While everyone in the bunker allows themselves to be overcome by desperation and lose their humanity, one survivor holds onto a thin chance for escape even with no promise of salvation on the outside.
