The Hunger Games with Paula Malcomson has finally wrapped production in North Carolina. The film is still scheduled for release in March.

Gun Hill Road has opened in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and San Diego this weekend. More details on Facebook. The Miami Herald has a new interview with Esai Morales.

Fort McCoy with Eric Stoltz will be shown at the Boston Film Festival on Wednesday, September 21. Details and tickets here. Eric's new episode of Glee airs this Tuesday at 8 pm. Spoiler TV has the teaser. And here is the first pic from the set of Modern Love, from Twitter:



Sasha Roiz posted a new photo from the set of Grimm. He will make another appearance in Warehouse 13 in episode 3x10, "Insatiable," which airs this Monday at 9 pm.

A bunch of new interviews with Jane Espenson, Alessandra Torresani and the Husbands crew showed up in recent days. ^ At one point, they mention that Alessandra is filming an episode of American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy's (Nip/Tuck, Glee) new show that premieres on October 5 on FX.

Donovan's Echo with Hiro Kanagawa will be shown at several film festivals: Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival (Sept. 18), Calgary International Film Festival (Sept. 22), Edmonton International Film Festival (Sept. 24), and Vancouver International Film Festival (Oct. 9 & 11). The episode airs on Friday, September 30. While waiting for Fringe, you can catch JPF in Drive (he makes a brief appearance) in theatres and in Alphas next Monday.

Speaking of Alphas, last week's episode (the awesome one, with Brent Spiner) was directed by Caprica's Michael Watkins ("Gravedancing").

Remi Aubuchon tweets that the first two episodes of Falling Skies season two will be written by Mark Verheiden (2x01) and David Weddle & Bradley Thompson (2x02).

Ryan Robbins, who also has a film in theatres these days (Apollo 18), has posted a few pics from another new project on Lockerz. No word on what it is yet.

Leah Gibson has another project coming up in the near future, a Sony Pictures film called The New Girl (official page - article). She posted a couple of BTS pics the other day:



She also mentioned working with Brian Markinson and Aleks Paunovic on Arctic Air. (Yes, Brian Markinson is in it, too.) The show will premiere on CBC in Canada in early 2012.

Aleks Paunovic's Official Fan Site has a bunch of production stills and BTS photos from The Hostage, the short film he made with Tahmoh Penikett last year.

Michael Rymer did a couple more interviews for Face to Face. You can find them at The Movie Club and Red Tent Radio. The film won several Maverick Movie Awards (info) this week, for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Actor (Luke Ford).

Meanwhile, Judas Kiss with Richard Harmon and Genevieve Buechner has won the award for Best Screenplay in a Feature Film at the Long Beach QFilm Festival. You can check out the cover of the UK DVD, out on November 7, on Facebook.

Scott Porter was at the Toronto Film Festival with Ten Year. The newly launched Scott Porter Fan has a bunch of pics. Scott posted one from the premiere:

Scott's new show, Hart of Dixie, premieres on September 26 (next Monday), but it will be available on iTunes for free on September 22.

The X-Men anime series, with Scott as the voice of Cyclops, will premiere on G4 on Friday, October 21 at 11. From the press release:

Actor Scott Porter takes on the title role in "X-Men" as the voice of Cyclops, the optic-force blasting deputy leader of the team. In the series, the X-MEN are reunited following the death of a teammate, and are summoned by Charles Xavier to track down Hisako Ichiki, a missing teenage girl in Northern Japan. There, they encounter the fanatical and anti-mutant group, U-MEN, and discover what was important enough for Xavier to bring them back together. The answer is something that could potentially bridge the gap between mutants and humans, or tear the two species apart forever.

CBS.com has a new BTS photo from the Hawaii Five-0 season opener, with James Marsters. The episode airs this Monday.

Splitsider.com talked to Patton Oswalt about the Finest Hour special. Looks like he'll be writing another book in the near future.

Bear McCreary tweets that he wrote the score for the "Zom-B-Movie" segment of Chillerama, which premiered earlier this week. He describes it as his "musical tribute to 50s Herrmann, 70s Funk, 80s Goldsmith & Carpenter." Here is some info, along with a memorable description, from Blogomatic:

Directed by Adam Green, Joe Lynch, Adam Rifkin and Tim Sullivan, Chillerama is an homage to the now dying art of drive-ins and features four different horror stories each of which is an homage to a films of different eras – from the 50s to the 80s, with a wraparound tale of a drive-in showing it’s final four films before closing down. Each director will handle a segment – all of which sound completely balls-to-the wall- crazy! (...) Joe Lynch helms Zombie Movie, which is in the vein of a 70s/80s zombie flick, described by Lynch as: “When there’s no more room in hell, the dead will fuck the earth!”
