Bluebell felt like a wonderful, larger-than-life place where out of the ordinary things could happen but remain plausible. Above all, I fell in love with the character of George Tucker. He is a wide-eyed, ever-trusting guy who does not have an ounce of cynicism in him.
George is an all-American good guy. Is that a true reflection of who you are in real life?
I was raised in the Midwest in Nebraska and I have a very strong family, so in that way, I'm very similar to George. But I also think I've seen more places and done more things than George. I'm probably more like Wade in real life!
Last not least, if you see The Cabin in the Woods this weekend and "Mother Buckner" looks familiar, it's Maya Massar, the nice lady who tried to claw Graystone's cab to death in "Retribution." The film opens in the U.S., Canada, the UK and a bunch of other countries today. Here is the trailer:
