Caprica season 1.5 DVD gets a UK release date

With Caprica finally back on TV in the UK, season 1.5 also finally has a DVD release date: July 18. You can pre-order the DVD on Amazon.co.uk: Caprica - Season 1, Volume 2 [DVD]

Gun Hill Road with Esai Morales will be shown at the Inside Out Film Festival in Toronto tomorrow (Tuesday, May 24) at 7:15. Details and tickets at InsideOut.ca. Last week, the film was selected to open the Outfest -- it will be screened at the Orpheum Theatre in L.A. on July 7.

Los Americans premieres on PIC.tv in a couple of days. There are a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos on the show's Facebook page.

Adult Swim has picked up a new show with Patton Oswalt for the fall. Here is the description, from Collider:
The Heart, She Holler is a new live-action soap opera about folk who ain’t never used soap or seen an opera. It’s a satire on the emotional Hee-Hawification of America, set in a town so inbred, the folks have become almost supernaturally wrong. The series is produced by PFFR, and stars Patton Oswalt and Heather Lawless. The Heart, She Holler premieres this fall on Adult Swim.
In not-so-good news, United States of Tara won't be returning next season.
